Disruptions at the ports continue starting from today with the Maritime Union of Australia’s (MUA) AGM member meeting attendance on Tuesday 24 November, work stoppages and various other shut downs.

DP World and Patrick Terminals will have work stoppages. 

Stop Work meetings for each terminal are listed below:

Thursday, 19 November 2020
DP World - Sydney Terminal

12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
This authorised meeting allows employees to vote on a new DP World Sydney Enterprise Agreement and to make a critical upgrade to the TOS.  The yard will remain closed till the second run of the Evening shift.

Friday, 20 November 2020
DP World - Brisbane Terminal

1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Vessel & Road operations will be stopped during these hours.
The terminal will be closed from 12:00 pm.

Tuesday, 24 November 2020
DP World
Fremantle Terminal, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Sydney Terminal, 9:30 am to 2:00 pm
Melbourne Terminal, 9:30 am to 1:30 pm
All terminal operations will cease during this period.
Brisbane Terminal,  7:00 am to 11:00 am
Vessel operations and road operations to the Old Terminal are affected. Road operations to the automated modules will continue as normal.

Patrick
Fremantle Terminal, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Sydney Terminal, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm (first zone back at 3:00 pm)
During this time there will also be a closure to perform a required shut down for the new rail project.
Melbourne Terminal, 9:30 am to 1:30 pm
Brisbane Terminal,  7:00 am to 11:00 am
All terminal operations will cease during this period.
