Spot sea freight rates on the transpacific trade lane sector saw some falls this week.
Rates for Shanghai to Los Angeles and Shanghai to New Year remain steady on these trade
lane sectors. Shanghai to Los Angeles at USD $10,985.00 per 40ft container. Shanghai to
New York at USD $12,961.00 per 40ft container.

Shanghai to Genoa saw an additional fall of 1% or USD $187.00 this week to USD
$12,503.00 for a 40ft container. Shanghai to Rotterdam fell another 2% or USD $283.00 this
week to USD $12,685.00 per 40ft container.
