Many of our customers are seeking seamless integration between their systems and ours. IN OTHER NEWS:
The Albanese government plans to abolish nearly 500 “nuisance” import tariffs starting July 1, including those on items like toothbrushes, hand tools, fridges, dishwashers, clothing, and menstrual products.
These tariffs, set at 5%, will be removed to reduce compliance costs, streamline trade, and boost productivity.
The decision, described as the biggest tariff reform in two decades, aims to simplify Australian trade and assist small and medium-sized businesses.
The move is estimated to save businesses over $30 million annually in compliance costs. Consultations are ongoing, with the full list of abolished tariffs to be provided in the May budget.

- FJT Brisbane achieves notable milestones, recording the second-highest total income and setting a new record with 1,200 shipments opened in CargoWise.
Achievements:
- FJT Brisbane unpacks more containers, led by Mathew Norman, showcasing operational excellence and adaptability.
- Both branches Sydney & Brisbane, demonstrate outstanding teamwork, seamlessly managing workload pressures and ensuring efficient operations despite staff absences.
Challenges:
- Both branches face challenges including shipment delays, equipment issues, and navigating disruptions from the Red Sea / Suez Canal incident.
- Managing customer feedback and invoice discrepancies amidst skyrocketing freight rates adds further complexity.
